Professional Biography
I am a graduate of Ontario Christian. I started going to Ontario Christian in Kindergarten and graduated in 2004. I attended California Baptist University, in Riverside, CA. I graduated from Cal Baptist in December of 2007 with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies. I continued my education at Cal State Fullerton and received my California Multiple-Subject teaching credential in December of 2008. While teaching, I completed the Clear Credential Program from the University of California Riverside in 2013. I have been teaching at Ontario Christian since 2008.
Personal Biography
I was born in California and grew up in a wonderful Christian home in Ontario. I attended Ontario Christian from K – 12th grade. My family still resides in Ontario, and I love spending time with them. I am married to my best friend, Andrew Thacker. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, love traveling, and watching movies. I am a member of Crosspoint CRC.
Philosophical Biography
I am thankful that I was able to attend a Christian school for my education. Now, being a Christian educator, I have the opportunity to share about my Savior and what He has done for me. I believe that Christian education is a privilege. I feel that God has blessed me with the ability to work with children. I believe that children are a special gift from God. God has given each child unique gifts and talents. I enjoy learning about each child’s unique gifts and talents and have the goal to help them succeed. I am blessed to partner with parents and the faculty here at OC in teaching our students about God and His world. I pray that God will use me to make a difference in the lives of the children here at Ontario Christian.
