Educational Options
At Ontario Christian, we believe that parents play the primary role in the discipleship and training of their children. As we partner with parents in their role, we want to provide options that incorporate the utilization of our educational options program in a full-time or part-time setting.
Our educational options include classes on campus, online, and at home. You can choose what works best for each of your children and stay within your family’s needs. Each option is covered legally under the State of California Private School Provision as Ontario Christian maintains all required records and files.
Educational Options Program Benefits
As we partner with parents in their roles, we want to provide options that incorporate the utilization of our Ed Ops program for full-time, part-time, online, and homeschooled students. All educational options include the following benefits:
Cumulative Records
OC collects required paperwork and maintains a cumulative file for each student to ensure educational and legal standards are being met.
Field Trips
Monthly field trips are provided where students can have first-hand experiences within a variety of educational settings. Our field trips are designed to offer a wide variety of learning experiences for primarily elementary and middle school students.
Park Days
Monthly Park Days are intended to allow fellowship for both moms and students. Meetings take place in Chino while dates and times vary and are communicated to families beforehand. Seasonally themed activities are provided.

Middle school students may attend the DC Trip and 8th grade retreat.
High school students may participate in after-school clubs and programs, such as Mock Trial, Art Club, ASB as well as a variety of Sports, once minimum attendance requirements are met. Students may also participate in Ontario Christian School service projects.
Parents must make arrangements before attendance in any of the previously mentioned activities. Students must wear an OC uniform to participate in any on-campus activities.
Standardized Testing
Standardized MAP testing is provided on campus for 1st through 8th grade in the fall and spring. PSAT testing is provided for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students each year.
School Pictures
All educational options students can participate in school pictures on campus. Dates & times will be emailed in the newsletter for elementary and middle school students.
High school students can have their pictures taken for student ID cards on the first day of our full-time school. This will allow them to participate in athletic events at the student rate. ID pictures are taken on the first day of school.
School Newsletter
Monthly newsletters will be emailed to include field trip information as well as other educational opportunities and all-school events. The Campus Connection is also a great way to stay in touch with what is happening in the Ontario Christian community!
Learning Disabilities and Special Education
Students who have an active IEP or may need assessments in an area may consult with our Special Needs Director. If families with an IEP choose to participate on campus, we will do our best to make the student’s experience a positive one. We also have a list of resources in addition to our campus offerings to help with your student’s unique needs.
Report Cards
All students may receive an Ontario Christian report card. Classes will be marked as PSP, online, or on-campus. High school students may earn a PSP diploma if classes are taken off campus at home or at other non-accredited institutions. OC Online courses are accredited.
Graduation
Students may participate in the middle school and high school graduation ceremonies on campus. Elementary Classical Education students will have their own promotion ceremony.
