Professional Biography
I graduated from California Baptist University with a BA in liberal studies with an emphasis in English literature. I completed graduate coursework at the University of Phoenix in secondary education. I began teaching in 2001. I currently teach high school English and journalism. In addition, I am the lead teacher coach of the mock trial team.
Personal Biography
I was married in 1993. We have two daughters that also attend Ontario Christian Schools. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and traveling.
Philosophical Biography
I believe that all students have the capacity to learn. Students learn from experiences and should be given opportunities to be active learners. I want my students to be able to express themselves orally and in written form. In addition, I want my students to be able to think critically and analytically. Most importantly, I want to continue to emphasize Biblical truths.
