Professional Biography
In 2004, I graduated from Trinity Christian College with majors in Theology and Church Ministry and Leadership and a minor in Psychology. After graduation, I worked for the non-profit organization Young Life; whose focus is to bring Jesus Christ to kids around the world. It was this desire to disciple students in the teachings of Jesus that I began teaching at Ontario Christian in the fall of 2006. I recently finished a master’s degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.
Personal Biography
I met my wife Cheryl at Trinity Christian College and we were married in the fall of 2004. Cheryl grew up in the Ontario Christian community and we moved back here in the summer of 2006 and I began Teaching at Ontario Christian that fall. We have a twin son and daughter, Kyla and Jackson; they were born in July of 2010. God’s majesty and beauty are all around us, and I try to capture this through one of my hobbies, photography. I also enjoy many other outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, and mountain biking.
Philosophical Biography
“Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.” Psalm 119:97. These are words that I wish students will be able to say after being at Ontario Christian. God’s word is full of beauty and truth. As a Bible and History teacher, it is my goal to share these beliefs with my students. As I continue to study and teach the Bible I am amazed at how God continually speaks through his living Word. I wish to share my love for God’s word with my students and hope that they themselves can speak the words of the psalmist, “Oh, how I love your law!”
