In Spanish 2 students will add to the language learned in level 1. They will learn new vocabulary, verb tenses, and parts of speech. Students will create projects including; classroom expectations, getting ready for and attending a special event, and negotiating/bartering in an open air market type situation. They will be able to discuss various topics in both present and past tense. Students will advance their practice of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to an intermediate level of comprehension and production. Students will read a novel and explore cultural differences between the U.S. and El Salvador.
