Course Catalog

This freshman course is a general overview of the Old Testament. Students will experience the big picture of Creation, Fall and Redemption. Students will encounter the major characters and events in the Old Testament as we see God’s faithfulness in providing redemption through the promised Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. Students will be able to see Christ in the Old Testament as he makes His appearance in various forms. Students will realize God’s expectations for His people, the practical application of his Word to our lives, the consequences of our sin and God’s mercy as he works through human history to redeem that sin through the promised Savior who is to come.
