Geometry involves a formal study of deductive reasoning. This is performed through studying reality in terms of points, lines, and planes. Students will revisit graphing concepts, writing proofs, The second semester includes a study of congruent triangles, similar polygons, right triangles, constructions, and an introduction to trigonometry. A review of area and integration of the geometric concepts into the study of area is included, as well.
