The focus of the course is to show the students how foodservice can fit into daily life, and also how to show Christ’s love by blessing others with food. Students will learn the basics of cooking, which will include, food safety and sanitation procedures, how to properly read a recipe, how to measure ingredients, basic cooking, basic baking, and also the importance of the family table.
