Learning Center
Special Education Program at Ontario Christian School
Helping Students Reach Their Full Potential With a Christ-Centered Education
At Ontario Christian, we believe your child is created in God’s image and has God-given strengths and abilities. The Learning Center (Special Education) program at Ontario Christian offers programming and services in settings that address your students’ unique needs in a loving and inclusive environment.
Our highly qualified staff strives to work with your child at their educational level while increasing their love for their learning, the Lord, and others.
Meeting the Needs of Your Student
The Learning Center (LC) program is located on the elementary, middle, and high school campuses. Each student receives a Christ-centered education with a focus on having each child reach their full potential.
This is achieved by creating individual learning goals through a collaboration between teachers, parents, and the student. Instruction takes place within the Learning Center classroom and through inclusion in Ontario Christian’s existing Bible, Arts, Music, Spanish, PE, Computer Lab, and homeroom classes.

Why have families made the Learning Center at Ontario Christian their trusted partner in education?
Christine S. (OC parent)
“I am so impressed with all the love and attention my son gets through the Learning Center. He gets help several times a day. They are always patient and kind. My son has received help for the past 3 years and it has helped greatly. I receive progress reports quarterly on his progress. Meetings are set up to discuss our next action plan. His teacher is always in contact with us. She lets us know how he is progressing and what we can do to help. It’s obvious her love for each child. We would definitely be lost without it.”
Michele R. (OC Parent)
Josephine H. (OC parent)
“The Learning Center has been a life-changing resource for my child. He came into the program struggling in academics across the board. He can now read and do mathematics. That is all due to the one-on-one teaching approach that is done in the Learning Center. The teachers and aides are loving and patient with the children. This is an excellent environment that you cannot find at other schools. Our child would not be where he is at today academically if it were not for the program. It has been a blessing beyond measure.”
Heather H. (OC Parent)
“The amazing teachers and aides in the Learning Center have diligently supported and encouraged my son in his academic, spiritual, and social development. I feel truly blessed to have this program, along with its dedicated staff, available for my son at Ontario Christian.”
