Professional Biography
I graduated from Colorado State University in 2004. I was a history major and finished the teacher credential program with a concentration in social studies. Immediately after I graduated, I moved to California and taught first through third grade in a multi-grade classroom for three and a half years in Redlands, California. In 2008 I started teaching at Ontario Christian School. My experience at Ontario Christian includes teaching first, fourth, and sixth grade, as well as substituting for all grade levels. In 2013 I received my English learner authorization and finished the RIMS-BTSA California clear credential program. This year I am very excited and privileged to teach kindergarten!
Personal Biography
I grew up in beautiful Colorado. When I was 24, I moved to sunny California. In 2006, I married my husband who is also a teacher at OC. He enjoys teaching art on the high school campus. We enjoy going to the mountains in the winter and the beach in the summer. We also like to golf, camp, and go to museums.
Philosophical Biography
As a Christian school teacher, it is a blessing to be able to see each student grow academically as well as spiritually. I believe we should teach God’s precious children about His commandments, His love ,and the salvation He has given us through Jesus Christ. Every day I am blessed by the spiritual growth and Godly testimony of Jesus’ children. God has created each one of my students with unique talents and abilities, and I believe that every student can learn and grow.
