The AP Spanish Language and Culture Course, conducted almost exclusively in Spanish, taught according to the College Board guidelines, is designed to support students in the process of becoming proficient in the Spanish language, and to also successfully complete the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam. At the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate their proficiency in the modes of communication from the Intermediate to the Pre­Advanced range, as defined in the learning objectives in the Curriculum Framework. This course will provide students with opportunities and tools to develop a strong command of the Spanish language by integrating the three modes of communication: Interpretive, Interpersonal and Presentational. You will expand your knowledge of culture by being exposed to products, practices, and perspectives of the different cultures of the Spanish speaking countries.
