Campus Connection: April 2026 Vol. 2

OC Families,

I recently had the privilege of attending Grandparents Day at the Euclid Campus. It was a beautiful picture of generations coming together, united in faith and a shared commitment to Christ-centered education. What a blessing to see God’s work and the legacy of faith carried on from one generation to the next!

As we enter this final stretch of the school year, the finish line is in sight, and it often feels like a full sprint to the end. Yet even in these busy weeks, there is so much to do, learn, and celebrate. From class trips and Field Day to Green and Gold festivities, we look forward to ending well and honoring our students at promotion and graduation ceremonies.

In the midst of all the activity, my prayer is that we would pause and reflect on God’s goodness throughout this past year. We have not walked this journey alone. In every joy and every challenge, the Lord has remained faithful by guiding, sustaining, and walking beside us each step of the way.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Over the past years, it has become an OC tradition to auction off front-row seats for various events, including Graduation, Promotions, K-12th Christmas Program, and Grandparents Day, with the mindset of raising funds for our Impact Fund to support the mission of OC. We are excited to announce that our online auction is returning, offering front-row seats at events for the current school year and throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Starting at 8:00 a.m. on May 1, 2026, items will be available for bidding through Charity Auctions Today. All proceeds will be directed to the Impact Fund toward our operating budget at OC.

Bidding will close on May 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. If you have any questions about the online auction, please contact Nickole Vander Dussen, Director of Development and Advancement, at nvanderdussen@ocschools.org or call 909-984-1756, ext. 1143.

Join our community of skillful and dynamic professionals who demonstrate personal knowledge of God’s word in their work to provide the best quality of Christian Education. Ontario Christian staff and faculty lay a biblical foundation for our Christ-centered mission of Growing Christian Leaders.

We finished our last chapel as a group in the M.P.R. on Thursday, April 23. We really focused on the theme for this year “Growing & Going” We talked about our PreK and TK students that will go from the preschool into kindergarten and we talked about how we can go out and be the light for Jesus to those we meet. Chapels this year have been so great to teach the preschool students that even though they are small they too are a light for Jesus. Each class will continue with bible stories in their classes through the rest of the school year.

Our spring programs and open house will be on Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5. The students have been practicing every day to prepare for this fun morning with their families.
