“In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.” Psalm 94:19
Ontario Christian School is grateful.
Thank You, God, for Your protection.
Thank you, Ontario Police Department, for your incredible work and support. We are forever grateful to you for your responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to serving and protecting the students of Ontario.
Thank you, brave student, who came forward to report the recent concerning activity. Your actions saved countless lives. You are a true hero.
Thank you, OC parents, students, and community, for your love, prayers, patience, and understanding during this heavy time as we worked and continue to work and cooperate with the Ontario Police Department in our communication, including suitable times to convey particular facts of the case to protect the integrity of the investigation.
Thank you, OC staff. We know this past week has been incredibly taxing on each of you. We thank you for your investment in students through class content, conversations, prayer, and daily presence in the classroom as you remain faithful to the calling God has placed upon your life.
Thank you to the pastors who were at the high school campus during lunch this week to pray with, for, and over our students, staff, and community. Such a great community of faith surrounds us.
Thank you, family-in-Christ, who have reached out to show love and support.
Please pray for our students, parents, families, staff, and community as we continue to seek God’s guidance in and through each day.
Now more than ever, may our hearts sing and hold dear to the rich truth of these words, “Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.”
We love you, OC. Together We Are Knights.
(We know there is a potential need for OC students, parents, and staff to have additional mental health support at this time. As always, our counselors and office staff are available if you need to speak or process with someone.
Additionally, if you have seen, heard, or know something that might affect the safety of our school, say something. Report suspicious activity to a trusted parent, teacher, school staff, small group leader, or adult.)
(Note: Ontario Christian School Administration has already spoken with several media outlets and participated in the Ontario Police Department press conference on February 14, 2024. Ontario Christian School will not comment further to the press or other media outlets on this situation unless there are further developments. We must devote our full resources to the care and healing of our students, staff, and community.)
