The generosity of the Ontario Christian student body was evident as our K-8 students participated in a Thanksgiving Food Drive for Food for Life Ministry. Led by ASB and K-8 School Counselor Mrs. Pamela Powell, the student leadership team filled an entire pickup truck with canned goods and non-perishable foods to bless many local families in our communities.
The K-8 counseling department at Ontario Christian aims to serve the community with at least two charity events throughout the school year. Our school has partnered with various organizations, including Hope Partners in Pomona, The Dream Center in Los Angeles, and Food For Life Ministry in Chino.
āSometimes School Counseling is rallying our students and families to serve others in small or big ways! We had a successful Thanksgiving Food Drive that I know will bless the community.ā – Mrs. Powell, K-8 School Counselor.
