Happy Wednesday OC Families!
If you are anything like me, you are taking a little breather from all the fall festivals or Halloween activities before you gear up for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Truthfully it can be a great and wonderful time, but it can also be overwhelming. Hopefully, you are reminding yourself to take it one day at a time. God’s Word tells us,
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34)
So remember, whatever this season has in store, God is already with us.
- Here is the link to this month’s Counselor Tidbits with helpful articles, resources, and important dates.
- We also have a food drive starting next week that will be a tremendous blessing to one of our local food pantries.
- Check your inboxes from November 3 for the results of the Student Climate Survey that I sent out to students a couple of weeks ago. It was good to see that many of our students are glad to come to school and be a part of the OC community while also acknowledging that there is room for improvement. I personally am up for the challenge to make Ontario Christian a place that ALL students want to be. To God be the Glory!
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or encouragements, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via email or phone.
Blessings to you all,
Mrs. Powell
